Olive-Me & Co. Poppy Seed & Apple Coleslaw

  • 2 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 ½ cups red cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup carrot, shredded
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, julienned
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons Olive-Me & Co varietal EVOO or Persian Lime, Meyer Lemon Flavoured EVOO
  • 1 tablespoon Olive-Me & Co White Balsamic Vinegar (Plain or Flavoured)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • Salt and pepper, to taste



  1. Combine the cabbage, carrot and apple in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk together the mayonnaise, olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, poppy seeds, salt and pepper in a separate bowl.
  3. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and stir  until well combined. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least one hour.

Serve cold.

Olive~Me & Co’s Habanero Salsa


  • 2 mangos, diced
  • 4  green onions  thinly sliced
  • 2  kiwifruit, sliced
  • 1  papaya, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro or basil minced
  • 2  tablespoons lime juice
  • 1  jalapeno pepper, minced
  • 2  tablespoons Olive~Me & Co’s White Honey Ginger Balsamic or 18 Year Old Traditional Balsamic
  • 2  tablespoons Olive~Me & Co’s Extra Virgin Habanero Olive Oil
  • salt to taste

Combine ingredients in a bowl, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve!!! Enjoy!!!

Olive~Me & Co’s White Honey Ginger Balsamic and Sesame Marinade

This marinade is amazing for chicken, seafood or pork…you will use it again and again! Try marinating the chicken you use in your Chinese Chicken salad in this marinade for an added flavor sensation!


  • ¼ cup Olive~ Me & Co’s White Honey Ginger balsamic
  • 2 TBL Olive~Me & Co’s Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp. minced fresh garlic
  • 2 TBL tamari soy sauce


Thoroughly combine the ingredients and use to marinate one pound of chicken, pork or shrimp.

Olive~Me & Co’s Chinese Chicken Salad with White Honey Ginger & Persian Lime Dressing

The salad:

  • Seasoned & sautéed chicken breast, shredded
  • Romaine lettuce, torn or cut into bite-size pieces
  • Green and red cabbage, shredded (use two different varieties to add color to the salad)
  • Carrots, julienned or made into matchsticks
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Fried Chow Mein noodles
  • Sliced almonds, toasted

Measurements are completely up to you. It depends on how many people you’re feeding. Add all the ingredients but the Chow Mein noodles together in a large bowl and toss to mix. Plate the salad and sprinkle with Chow Mein noodles. Drizzle on the dressing just before eating.

The dressing:

  • ¼ cup of Olive~ Me & Co’s White Honey Ginger balsamic
  • 1 TBL Olive~Me & Co Toasted Sesame Seed Oil
  • 1 – 2 TBL Olive~ Me & Co’s Persian Lime EVOO (Add one TBL and have a taste. Add more if desired)
  • 1 small- med. clove garlic, minced

In a small bowl, add the balsamic and garlic and stir. Slowly whisk in the oils to emulsify the mixture. Store in an airtight container.
